Our Chiropractic Techniques
We use a number of highly-effective adjusting approaches to help improve spinal biomechanics and reduce nervous system interference. The approach we use is based on our judgment and years of experience.
You were born to be healthy. But unfortunately in our society, we are exposed to greater amounts of negative stress then positive, and as a result, we are aging faster than we should be. My goal with every patient who comes into my office, as well as in my community, is to teach you how to make better healthcare choices, to improve the aging process. I do this by using the cutting edge technology in my office to determine your needs. The role of chiropractic care in a wellness model is not only to remove nerve interference, thereby helping your body perform better, but to help you make better lifestyle choices so that you are not re-creating the same issues every day due to your lifestyle. Below is an explanation of the two technologies I utilize to help me achieve these goals.
Subluxation Station
Right now, your heart is beating. Your lungs, kidneys, liver, brain – everything in your body – is functioning in a coordinated effort thanks to your Nervous System. Your Nervous System is the master system and controller of your body. The Insight Discovery Subluxation Station, the technology we utilize in the office, objectively evaluates patterns of spinal and nerve function. It is painless, non-invasive, scientifically sound – and easy to understand.
The three technologies used to calculate your Core Score are:
- sEMG – evaluates muscle function – Are there areas of muscle tension or imbalance?
- Thermal Scan – reveals patterns of neural function – Does your nervous system effectively promote healing?
- Pulse Wave Profiler -(a.k.a. Heart Rate Variability) reveals the general state of your health and ability to adapt to stress – Is your body operating efficiently overall?
The purpose and course of care will allow you to improve your Core Score which in turn will lead to a healthier, happier lifestyle. Over time, these tests are repeated to track progress.
